
The objective is to develop a complete secured digital library system for people with print disabilities, incorporating recent Daisy specifications and technologies, released by software companies, open source communities or the Daisy Consortium itself.
This system will make possible :
The development will be based on the experience of a digital library run by the Association BrailleNet in France.
The mission involves discussions and follow up with partner organisations in user organisations, research organisations, and industrial companies (Alacatel-Lucent, Adobe, Microsoft, Eurobraille …), and with the Daisy Consortium, as well.
The mission is to be carried out at Association Braillenet, Paris, France. If necessary, technical meetings could take place in other locations involving travels.
